I National sono tornati! Li abbiamo aspettati tanto, ben quattro anni dal precedente Trouble Will Find Me del 2013, seppure i diversi progetti paralleli dei componenti del gruppo e qualche live nel tempo ci abbiano placato l’attesa.
Pochi giorni fa la loro pagina facebook comincia a cambiare look, appare un primo misterioso teaser. Il giorno seguente un secondo, una clessidra che ci annuncia che il tempo evidentemente sta per scadere.
Ed eccoli finalmente annunciare l’uscita del loro settimo album, l’8 Settembre 2017 per l’etichetta 4AD, dal titolo Sleep Well Beast.
L’album è già disponibile in pre order.

Insieme all’album i The National annunciano un grande tour che, oltre le date estive di Glastonbury e Copenhagen, li vedrà in giro per tutto l’autunno, da Settembre a Dicembre in Europa e in America. Niente Italia purtroppo per questa prima parte.
