Il 3 Maggio 2011 i Fleet Foxes pubblicheranno Helplessness Blues attesissimo secondo album dopo il grande successo del loro album d’esordio pubblicato nel 2008 per Bella Union in Europa e Sub Pop negli Stati Uniti.
La data di uscita coinciderà con un primo tour del Nord America per continuare fino ad Agosto con date in Inghilterra ed in tutta Europa.

Helplessness Blues è stato realizzato nel corso del 2010 in diversi studi di registrazione: Avast Recording, Bear Creek Studios, Dreamland Studios e Reciprocal Recording.
L’album è stato mixato da Phil Ek che ha anche curato insieme alla band tutta la produzione.
La copertina è stata disegnata dall’ Artista di Seattle Toby Liebowitz e dipinta da Chris Alderson.

I Fleet Foxes sono: Robin Pecknold, Skyler Skjelset, Christian Wargo, Casey Wescott, Josh Tillman e Morgan Henderson.
